Association Register/Professional Rules: The patent attorneys of our practice bear the title “Patent Attorney” under German law and are members of the German Patentanwaltskammer (Chamber of Patent Attorneys, www.patentanwaltskammer.de) and the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (www.patentepi.com). Members of the German Patentanwaltskammer are subject to the German Patent Attorneys Rules ( (BGBl. I 1966, P. 557, last amended by BGBl. I 2001, P. 3656), the German Professional Rules of Patent Attorneys (Mitt. 1997, 243 ff), the FIPCPI Code of Professional Conduct (epi-Information 2/2001, P. 75), the Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung (BRAO), the Federal Lawyers Act Berufsordnung für Rechtsanwälte (BORA) (German Professional Rules of Attorneys at Law), das Gesetz über die Vergütung von Rechtsanwältinnen und Rechtsanwälten (RVG, i.e. Law governing charges and fees of attorneys at law).
